Building My AI Team ...The Agentic Avengers

Here’s the speak-peak:
📋 ChatGPT as PM - I enjoy our long feature discussions. It’s great at turning complex chaos into clean, actionable chunks. Solid for brainstorming, shaping requirements, and writing specs. Just be prepared to prompt a few times — it can occasionally loop back to the obvious and sometimes just plainly agrees with me 🙂
🏛️ ChatGPT as Architect - Really useful for early system design, thinking through trade-offs, and setting up module boundaries. It helps me look though the lens of scale, separation of concerns, and integration points. Though yeah - it can either over-engineer or under-think complexities if I’m not watching closely.
🎨 UX Pilot as UX Engineer/Designer - Keeps my app from looking like it time-traveled from the 20th century. It’s great at generating modern flows, layouts, and mockups. Once I lock in a design theme, it becomes surprisingly self-sufficient. Just needs the occasional nudge to keep things clean and accessible.
🧑💻 Cursor for Frontend + Backend along in tandem with Claude Sonnet 4.0 - My quiet overachiever. Cursor handles full-stack dev like a machine (pun intended) — writing, refactoring, and debugging code in real-time. It’s excellent for scaffolding, wiring endpoints, and translating logic into working code. That said, it certainly needs human-in-the-loop reviews and tight context to stay on track.
🕵️♂️ ChatGPT as Test Architect (borderline paranoid) - It helps me define test strategy, build test plan, and catch logical gaps I might have missed. Sometimes (and I repeat only sometimes 🙂), it writes test-first code better than I do. But a vague schema or specification can bring out its “creative” side and you’ll see inputs like it’s testing a sci-fi API.
🐞 Cursor as Test Engineer (fast but forgetful) - Writes, runs, and fixes test cases fast. Its great for functional and non-functional test coverage. But like any over-eager intern, it’ll miss edge cases unless I spell them out clearly.
In harmony, they move fast, stay focused, and deliver — but man, do they hallucinate sometimes. Will I trust them with prod? The verdict’s still out there.
